Introductory Horsemanship, Management & Care

ECES mentors and supports participants who want to learn and advance their horsemanship skills through its Introductory Horsemanship, Management & Care. This can be delivered in a weekly lesson plan.

Horsemanship, Management, Health, Welfare & Care Lessons are aimed to provide participants with the basics of horse care in a safe and controlled environment. 

It is participant motivated and for them to reach their individual goals in their own time. These sessions are great for boosting the clients confidence on the ground, in the round yard or doing everyday horse husbandry tasks. 

- This could lead to a mounted riding lesson

Information ​

  • Perfect for Children (5yrs plus), Youth & Adults 

  • Offered weekly, run in 10 week term blocks

  • Lesson's are planned around the participants interests and skill set developing and growing as the participant becomes confident. 

  • Purpose built Facilities & Equipment 

  • No Hands on experience required; we teach you from the ground up. 

  • Fully Qualified & Insured Staff – Ebony Cox – DipAppSc Equine Studies, BaAppSc Equine Science & AEFL Level 1,2 & 3.

  • All staff are appropriately trained for the Job, all of our Handlers/Tutors undergo a thorough training program to ensure the safety of the participant, the horse, and the staff.

  • Welcoming & Supportive staff who love horses, horse human connections, and believe that IHMC Sessions are beneficial.
